Barely imaginable Beings //

Barely imaginable Beings are an open-discipline arts- and research collective founded in Brussels, 2018. It is a meeting place where aesthetic practices and questions can be shared outside the confines of traditional disciplines, technics or technologies. Barely imaginable Beings expose through live- and digital performances and workshops that focus on shared composition and the poetry in misunderstanding.

The multi-medial performances are dialogues between the home-base practices of Quentin Meurisse, Nina Van den Bempt and Klaas Devos and have affinities with contemporary music, dance performance, visual arts and digitalism. Our goal is to learn and to exchange through aesthetic encounters.

The first performance "A solo for nervous system" is an ongoing research-performance investigating algorithmic in-ear score for somatic dance. The second work of BiB, “Not Made To Worry,” is a digital and live-art revision of the trio “L’apres midi d’un Faun”. "Not Made To Worry" is in residency 2018-2019.
