Project SOMAi
In the First Technosomatic Study, Project SOMAi, I developed an interactive dance speech database and software designed to support improvisation. It defines dance-specific speech and reconsiders the speech as a artistic and reflection technique in somatic dance practice more broadly. It entails the construction of the dance speech database and its application in SOMAi software this is integrated in teaching and performance of dance improvisation.
